Strictly’s Adam Thomas teams up with brother for new TV show

Must read

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas and his Dancing on Ice star brother Ryan have landed their own ITV series.

The brothers will be presenting together for the first time on 99 To Beat, where 100 competitors will face off in a series of simple games where the goal is not to finish last in any given round.

The 100 contestants are whittled away with each game, until there is only one player left standing — and they will take home the top prize!

99 To Beat has opened up applications for contestants between 18 and 80 from all walks of life, so if you’re interested in taking on the challenge, click here to register for a possible spot on the show.

The Thomas brothers have announced 99 To Beat: “It’s new, it’s fresh, it’s fun and we can’t wait for people to see it! It really is the ultimate family show, and so we couldn’t be more excited to be hosting it together, as a family. It’s a dream come true for us. We can already imagine people at home playing these games with their families as it’s fun/silly/competitive & heartfelt.”

The pair are no strangers to the reality competition format, as Adam finished in third place on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! back in 2016 and his brother Ryan won Celebrity Big Brother in 2018. Competition runs in the family as their other brother Scott Thomas placed third in Love Island in 2016.

Of course, soap fans will remember Adam for his roles in both Waterloo Road and Emmerdale, whereas Ryan played Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street for 16 years.

With them at the helm, 99 to Beat is sure to be a supremely entertaining watch.”

99 To Beat is coming soon to an ITV channel.
