The routine was Amy’s first back on the show after receiving treatment for cancer in 2023, with judge Shirley Ballas saying the “choreography was absolutely outstanding.”

Next up with 30 points were Tasha Ghouri and dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec who danced to Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso, and Sarah Hadland and last year’s Strictly winner Vito Coppola who performed to Dolly Parton’s 9 To 5.

Gladiator Montell ‘Fire’ Douglas and Johannes Radebe earned 26 points for their foxtrot to Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby by Dinah Washington, as did Wynne Evans and Katya Jones from their Samba to Help Yourself by Tom Jones.
