While JB Gill was saved by the judges as Paul Merson was sent packing when the faced off on Sunday.

Fans claim Wynne was ‘overmarked’
Strictly viewers have taken to social media to complain that Wynne was ‘overmarked’ with his score of 31 points.
It comes as the show has been embroiled in previous fixing rows.
Strictly Come Dancing fans were left in hysterics as they witnessed the most ‘genius’ costume while watching the Halloween special of the BBC show on Saturday.
Professional dancer Carlos Gu looked unrecognisable as he transformed into host Claudia Winkleman wearing a matching outfit to hers.
Carlos wowed as he donned an oversized black blazer and coordinated long lace skirt which matched perfectly with Claudia.
He even rocked an eye catching black wig copying the presenters iconic hair style complete with her fringe.
Here’s the verdict from MailOnline readers tonight!
Drum roll please… Here’s what our readers made of tonight’s show.
Loved Pete’s make up and costume and his dance as the Joker!
Chris was grossly under marked for a fantastic performance!
Absolutely love Montell and Johannes but I am so sick of Chris being judged on the same level as the trained professional dancer Tasha

Remember to share what you thought in the comment section below.
‘You are the cherry on the cake’: Sam and Nikita last on the dancefloor
Hockey star Sam was disappointed with her performance but pulled it back with an impressive jive.
Motsi said the performance was the ‘cherry on the cake’ of a fantastic show.
They scored 7, 8, 8, 8 for a total of 31 points – Sam’s best yet.
STANDING OVATION! Sarah and Vito wow the crowd
Sarah and Vito performed the first Argentine Tango of the series and it did not disappoint.
Motsi said it was the ‘dance of the night’.
9, 10, 9, 10 for a total of 38 points and joint top of the leaderboard.
Jamie and Michelle in top spot (once again)
EastEnder’s Jamie is going from strength to strength and once again received fantastic comments from the judges.
Anton said: ‘Joyous, you’re so good, just learn to love it’. Craig said: ‘In-credible’.
Shirley concluded: ‘Pure genius, easy on the eye, what a partnership is developing’.
And the scores are in: 9,10,10,9 for a total of 38 points.
Jamie and Michelle are once again top of the leaderboard.
Can Jamie and Michelle come out on top?
Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas came joint-top of the table last week with an absolutely huge score of 39.
But will they be able to do it again this Fright Night?
The pair are performing an American Smooth to The Addams Family Theme by Vic Mizzy.
‘Paso-tastic’- Shayne and Nancy’s scores are in
Shayne and Nancy received 8, 8, 7, 8 for a total of 31 points. That’s leaves them mid-table tonight.
Shayne and Nancy’s paso doble
For this week’s performance, bewigged Shayne Ward takes on the role of a musical conductor while his partner Nancy Xu represents the musical notes.
The pair are dancing a Paso Doble to In The Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg.
The scores are in for Tasha and Aljaz
9,9,9,10… and a total of 37.
That is HUGE and the highest ever Halloween samba.
Tasha and Aljaz ‘move it, move it’
Tasha and Aljaz suffered a rare dip in form last week with a bumby tango.
But in the words Anton this was as ‘good a week as they could possibly have.’
Craig said the dance was ‘AMAZZZING’ whereas Motsi described it as outstanding.
Surely that is enough to put them high up on the leaderboard, if not on top.
Dance-floor survivors are back on track
Motsi, Shirely and Anton all dished out the compliments for JB and Amy saying ‘you have gone from strength to strength’.
Craig was slightly more critical but the pair still landed a fantastic score of 32.
That is the best foxtrot of the series so far!
JB and Amy Dowden head to the floor after a rocky end to last week in the bottom two
JB and Amy are preparing to get their dance shoes on after a rocky week in the bottom two last week. But will they be able to pull it out of the bag this week?
The pair will be performing the Foxtrot to iconic track Dancing In The Moonlight.
Wynne and Katya’s ‘devilish’ Salsa
Wynne and his dance partner Katya took to the dance floor with a Salsa as they try to shake off the last whiffs of the ‘handgate scandal’ two weeks ago.
Katya barely touched the floor in the opening 30 seconds with Wynee impressing the judges with his lifts.
Overall they landed an impressive score of 31 with 7, 8, 8, 8 – this leaves them mid-table for now.
Can Punam improve on last week’s ‘flat performance’
Punam and Gorka received just 21 points from the judges last week- and came into Fright Night as the bookies favourite to go home.
The pair dressed as pirates took to the dance floor with a Tango to Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics.
The judges noted improvement on last week and landed 6, 7, 6, 7 for a total of 26 points.
That is their second highest score of the competition so far but will it be enough…
Montell and Jojo take top spot on leaderboard
Montell and Jojo walk away with a stunning score of 35 after getting 9, 9, 9, 8 from the judges.
That is the best cha cha of the series and they move to the top of tonight’s leaderbaord.
‘Fire in the house’: Montell and Jojo take on the cha cha cha
What a spook-tacular perfomance from Montell and Jojo!
Shirely said: ‘Hip action to die for. You were simply breathtaking.’
Anton added: ‘You were marvellous. Wonderful characterisation. Strong performance. To give you something to work on I would like better leg speed.’
Craig also dished out the compliments, saying: ‘The potion worked, loved it.’
The scores are in for Pete and Jowita…
Pete’s best score yet! He will be pleased with that…
7, 8, 8, 8 for a total of 31 points
‘No joke(r)’ – Pete and Jowita impress judges
Pete and Jowita took to the dance floor in their Joker custumes to try and improve on last week’s score of just 22.
This week they danced a Viennese Waltz to That’s Life by Frank Sinatra.
Here are some of their comments from the judges:
Anton: ‘This is your best dance this series. You are growing baby!’
Craig: ‘A little musically behind. Smoother transitions, I would like to have seen. But you have grown brilliantly.’
Shirely said the performance was ‘no joke when it came to the dancing’.
‘You did more than staying alive’: Mixed reviews for Chris
Chris received mixed reviews from the judges as he opened Strictly’s Halloween Week.
Motsi said: ‘What a fun way to open us to the show. You nailed the character’
‘You did more than staying alive you survived the opening.’
Whereas Shirley said he ‘overcooked the bounce a little bit’ but overall did ‘incredibly well.’
Anton added the dance ‘lacked fluidity but timing excrptional’. Craig concluded ‘too much hopping, needed stretch and smoothness’.
Judges’ scores for Chris and Dianne: 5 (boo!), 7, 7, 7 for a total of 26 points.
It’s time to get your (spooky) sequins on!
Week 6 of Strictly Come Dancing is officially here – sit back, relax and watch with us as we welcome the first couple – Chris and Dianne – onto the dancefloor!
The pair will be performing a spooky Samba to ‘Stayin’ Alive’ by the Bee Gees.
Five minutes until the witching hour…
We’re just minutes away from Week 6’s live show kicking off on BBC One.
Our reporter Olivia Christie will guide you through the performances as the 11 remaining celebrities take to the dance floor.

What dances are on the cards tonight?
Tonight’s show will be the most varied of the series so far with TEN different dances on display.
There will be just one overlap with Chris McCausland and Tasha Ghouri both performing Sambas.
And perhaps most exciting of all Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola will treat viewers to Strictly’s first Argentine tango of 2024.
JB Gill has revealed his gruelling workout regime on Strictly Come Dancing is benefiting his love life with wife Chloe.
The JLS singer, 37, has been tearing up the dancefloor with his professional dance partner Amy Dowden on this year’s series.
The hitmaker told how his partner, who he married in 2014 after six years of dating, has been loving the changes to his body the show has brought.
Love Island star Tasha, 26, cut a stylish yet semi-casual figure as she sported a baby pink tracksuit consisting of a cropped hoody and slim-fit jogging bottoms.
She teamed the matching tracksuit with a chic white fur coat and sported a pair of brown platform Ugg boots.
The star beamed as she departed from the hotel with a silver suitcase and her belongings in her arms.
Who are the favourites to be eliminated this week?
According to the one bookmaker, Dr Punam Krishan and her dance partner Gorka Marquez are favourites to be eliminated this week with odds suggesting they are most likely to take part in the dance-off.
Betway spokesperson Chad Yeomans told the Express:
This Halloween-themed weekend, Dr. Punam Krishan could be in for a real fright as she is the 2/1 favourite to waltz off the show for good. The Glasgow-born GP is set to perform a spine-chilling Tango to ‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics, but she’ll need a good week in rehearsals to avoid a nightmare on the dance floor.
Ex-Olympian Sam Quek is also creeping into the danger zone, as she is the 3/1 second favourite to exit this Sunday. Meanwhile, Pete Wicks and Shayne Ward are both on thin ice and find themselves next in the betting to be taking their final bow on the show.
