Strictly Come Dancing fans expressed their delight after Carlos Gu dressed as a familiar face for the show’s annual Halloween week.
The BBC show returned on Saturday night (October 26) as the remaining couples took part in the sixth week of the competition, with everybody involved dressing up as a variety of famous horror-themed characters.
Carlos, who doesn’t have a celebrity partner this year, took a very different approach with his choice of costume, donning a cropped black wig and a black jacket as he modelled his look on host Claudia Winkleman.

“Carlos dressed as Claudia. He has won Halloween 2024”, added another overjoyed fan, with a third writing: “Wait…Carlos has come as Claude?!”
“What ever happens tonight, Carlos is the winner”, said a fourth viewer, with a fifth quipping: “Carlos as Claudia is breathtaking and terrifying in equal measure! Best costume ever!”
“I can’t cope with Carlos as Claudia, everytime they go to the claudatorium I snort laugh”, remarked another fan, with one more claiming: “Carlos deserves a knighthood for his Halloween costume.”

Carlos’ outfit wasn’t the only one to get the fans talking, with judges Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke delighting viewers as they dressed up as the twins from Stanley Kubrick’s classic horror movie The Shining.
“craig and anton?? i cant work out if i love it or if it’s deeply disturbing”, remarked one fan, with a second adding: “The Craig and Anton outfits might be the greatest thing to ever happen in #Strictly”.
