Rapper Stormzy has sparked new romance rumours after he was seen kissing Grammy-winning R&B star Victoria Monét.
The news comes just three months after his final split from TV host Maya Jama.
The 31-year-old rapper, whose real name is Michael Owuo Jr., was photographed embracing and kissing Victoria, 35, at London’s Heathrow Airport on Thursday evening, seemingly confirming their blossoming relationship.
In the pictures, the Grime star looked enamoured as he gave Victoria a hug that lifted her off the ground, followed by a kiss on the lips.
An eyewitness told The Sun: ‘Both Stormzy and Victoria looked absolutely smitten with each other. They kissed, and when he hugged her, he picked her up in the air. It seems like he is in a great place after his split from Maya.’
Victoria Monét, known for her sensual R&B sound and collaborations with stars like Ariana Grande, recently announced her split from fitness trainer John Gaines, with whom she shares a three-year-old daughter, Hazel.
Hazel made headlines last year when, at the age of two, she became the youngest-ever Grammy nominee, having been featured in her mother’s song Hollywood, which was nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
Victoria has garnered praise for her solo work and songwriting for other artists, including her critically acclaimed 2023 album Jaguar II.
Stormzy’s recent loved up moment with Victoria comes after his much-publicized split from Maya Jama, the Love Island host and radio personality, in July 2023.
The couple first began dating in 2014 but split after five years, with rumors of infidelity playing a role.
Although they rekindled their romance in 2023, they ended their relationship for good earlier this year, citing different priorities with Maya reportedly not feeling ready to settle down.
In a joint statement shared on Instagram, Stormzy and Maya expressed their continued respect and affection for each other even as they navigated the split.
They wrote, ‘We still think the absolute world of each other, we still care and respect each other, we are still grateful for the time we’ve had together, and we are still friends and will always be friends.’
Neither Stormzy nor Victoria has publicly commented on the nature of their relationship, but their recent airport PDA suggests something is definitely going on.
