SteamWorld Heist II was originally announced as coming to Game Pass on its August 8th launch, but that is no longer the case.
Deal or No Deal?
SteamWorld Heist II was revealed on April 20th, 2024. That initial trailer showed Game Pass as a listing for the title.
The original tweet that stated it was coming to the subscription service has been deleted off of Twitter and all Thunderful trailers that showed the Game Pass logo have been unlisted on YouTube. They were then re-uploaded without the branding.

How does something like this happen, it is unclear. SteamWorld Dig 1 & 2 did just hit Game Pass today. Several possibilities arise from the scenario. Either the game had a Game Pass deal that fell through or there was a mistake with the branding around the reveal and it never did. Clarification was not given, but we did just put out a short impressions piece (with 45 minutes of gameplay) that you can find up above.
