A man riding an electric scooter has died after colliding with a car.
Emergency services were called to St Albans, in Melbourne‘s outer northwest, at about 4.40pm on Thursday after reports of a crash.
The 45-year-old rider was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

‘Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have been told a man was riding the scooter along Arthur Street when it appears he collided with a vehicle,’ police said in a statement on Saturday.
‘The rider, a 45-year-old St Albans man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
‘The man died in hospital as a result of his injuries.’
Investigations are ongoing with a report to be prepared for the Coroner.
