Springwatch fans have been left shocked by Chris Packham’s expensive fashion choice in the latest episode of the wildlife show.
The 63-year-old naturalist and presenter returned with a new series of Springwatch on BBC Two earlier this week, with the show promising to bring one of the ‘most dramatic’ seasons the wildlife programme has ever had.
In a live airing on May 28, Packham fronted the ‘Watch Out’ edition of the show, alongside Hannah Stitfall, 58.
The pair sat at The Pecker and Bush pub as Packham indulged in a cold alcohol-free beer after visiting the watershed.
Packham appeared to be dressed humbly, wearing a bold yellow coat over a lime green fleece – however, he opted for more of a statement item to keep his head warm.

Throughout the 25 minute episode, Packham could be seen wearing a black Prada bucket hat, with the branding directly facing the camera on the right hand side.
According to the designer’s official website, a similar nylon hat fetches a price of £520.
Viewers took to X share their shock over Packham’s choice of the expensive accessory, with some even left impressed by his on-trend fashion pick.
