29 August – 30 August 2024

The Royal Air Force Rugby 7’s (The Spitfires) are taking on an incredible challenge to raise funds for the RAF Museum. They will be undertaking a 24-hour fitness challenge!

For 24 hours the team will be using a ski, bike and row machine, pushing themselves to the limit. Non-stop exercise! This extreme challenge will take place at the RAF Museum London, so you can come and cheer them on. They are hoping to raise £1500.

Start: Thursday 29 August at 11.00am
Finish: Friday 30 August at 11.00am

The RAF Museum is a registered charity, and we need support to continue to inspire everyone with the extraordinary stories of our Royal Air Force. The Royal Air Force Museum has opportunities for learning, and inspiring the next generation, in every corner of our sites – London and Midlands. No donation is too small to make a difference, support the Spitfire 7’s in their epic undertaking and donate by clicking here.

They have undertaken some amazing challenges. In 2020 they completed an Ultra Marathon that took them past the Battle of Britain memorial in London and finished at the RAF Museum London. In 2021, as part of the Lancaster Challenge, they cycled and ran for 24 hours straight around the Derwent Reservoir! They supported our Dambusters Cycle Ride in 2023 and a member of the team completed the journey with our Trustees and CEO that started at Lady Bower and ended at the RAF Museum.

They have raised nearly £5000 for the Museum, and we are truly thankful for their support.
