Snap One, an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of smart living technology, today announced that company’s full lineup of infrastructure brands and products will be available at InfoComm 2024 to demonstrate how integrators can access all the solutions they need to successfully design and install commercial projects of all sizes.
According to Scott Normand, Snap One Senior Director Commercial Market, visitors to Snap One’s booth #C9477 in the Las Vegas Convention Center can experience product demos and learn how their projects can be enhanced by Access Networks and Araknis networking equipment, Strong mounting solutions, Binary MoIP systems, Wirepath cabling, WattBox power protection and OvrC remote system management tools.
“Every commercial project requires a strong foundation of infrastructure to support physical resilience, ensure long-term performance and simplify maintenance. Snap One is proud to offer a range of rock-solid solutions for everything from TV mounting to sitewide wireless internet,” Normand said. “With popular tools like WattBox power products that protect gear while providing powerful remote system management capabilities, or Binary MoIP systems that reduce cost and complexity for distributed media networks, Snap One is a commercial integrator’s best friend.”
Networking
InfoComm 2024 marks Access Networks’ commercial market debut as a Snap One brand, just in time to announce the brand’s Wi-Fi 6 Unleashed access points with OvrC enablement coming soon.
At the booth, visitors will see Access Networks’ scalable enterprise-grade networking solutions including the Sophos XGS 136 Router/Firewall, 7150 series switches and several indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi 6 access points. Partners can also get a demonstration of the RG Nets gateway with the Access Networks team to see how they can easily manage network services across multiple sites and increase shared network revenue.
Show attendees will also experience the expanded Araknis line with new products across all three Araknis networking subcategories, including 2.5 Gbps routers with OvrC Pro, up to 10Gbps Layer 3 PoE++ switches, and indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi 6 solutions. All models feature OvrC for full configuration and remote management, saving integrators time and preventing unnecessary service calls.
Mounting
Snap One will showcase Strong’s VersaMounts that offer 2-5 inches of post-install adjustment, 19-degree tilt down and 180-degree swivel, along with Carbon Series Ceiling Mounts that can support up to 125 pounds and tilt up to 20 degrees. Demos include the In-Cabinet Slide-Out Racks that slide out 19 inches, rotate a full 360 degrees and support up to 300 pounds of gear. From mounts to racks, Snap One’s physical infrastructure solutions provide the critical, robust backbone of any commercial deployment, ensuring safety and reliability when it matters most.
Power Protection
The booth’s WattBox showcase includes power conditioners and UPS devices that provide surge protection, noise filtrations and voltage regulation while OvrC provides remote management options that can be utilized to facilitate service contracts.
Through OvrC, integrators can troubleshoot issues remotely, reduce service calls, reboot individual devices from anywhere, program scheduled notifications of system status and performance and much more. Partners can even respond to maintenance concerns remotely before the customer becomes aware of the issue, raising the level of support and strengthening customer trust.
The new WattBox Multi-Function Trigger enables end users to control pre-defined outlets with customizable button presets while Partners can set up functions for on, off or resetting the unit. WattBox also offers a unique solution that pairs an OvrC-enabled UPS with a 300- or 800-Series WattBox to deliver battery status information directly to the IP WattBox, letting Partners prioritize equipment for precise load shedding and maximize runtime of mission-critical subsystems during a power loss or brownout.
AV Distribution & Wiring
Snap One’s multi-brand MoIP (Media-over-IP) solutions enable flexible installation and deployment of media distribution systems, even in existing projects. Using cat6 cable to deliver high definition audio and up to 4K60 4:4:4 HDR10 and Dolby Vision video quality with optional picture-in-picture capability and video tiling/video wall options, Binary MoIP products and Episode MoIP amplifiers deliver near-term convenience and long-term scalability. The MoIP solutions require a 10GB network, an ideal pairing with Araknis’ latest equipment. Setup through OvrC is greatly simplified when combined with Araknis 920 series switches, and is supported by various third-party control systems including Crestron, ELAN, URC and more.
Finally, Wirepath’s structured wiring solutions that include patch cables, panels, enclosures and wall plates, with the Wirepath One Enclosure will be on display in the booth. The One Enclosure is molded from ABS plastic to eliminate WiFi signal interference and enable a full ‘internet-in-a-box’ solution. From advanced solutions to important details like wiring, Snap One has everything a commercial integrator needs to delight their customers.
“Every infrastructure product we make and sell is designed to make system installation and setup easier, faster and more profitable,” Normand said. “With all of our new releases and enhanced integration capabilities, we are providing everything a commercial integrator needs to design and implement intuitive, reliable and function-rich systems that strengthen performance while enabling rapid issue resolution through OvrC. We will continue to push the boundaries and pursue ever-greater networking, mounting and wiring solutions to help our Partners continue to grow and produce exceptional results for their clients.”
The first 50 InfoComm app users who visit the OvrC hub in booth #C9477 on Day 1 will be enrolled in a special product raffle, terms and conditions apply. To learn more about Snap One, click here and for high-res images, click here.
