If you’re looking for one of the best ways to watch TV then Sky Stream is a top choice. This diddy device plugs into your current telly and beams content to the big screen using the web rather than a satellite dish. That means it’s simple to DIY install and there’s no need to wait in for an engineer to visit. To make this box sound even more enticing, Sky recently launched a new entry-level Essentials plan which now starts from just £15 per month. That deal even includes Sky Atlantic and Netflix access. Of course, if you don’t fancy paying a monthly fee, there is now another option to stream content rather than using an over-the-air signal.
Freely launched earlier this year and is a bit like Sky Glass with everything you need for a fix of nightly entertainment built into the screen.
When it first arrived back in May, there were only a limited number of TVs that came with Freely.
Luckily, that’s slowly expanded and now there are even more models to choose from. Toshiba has just confirmed that it’s now offering Freely on more of its goggleboxes thanks to the release of the newest QLED QV2F TVs.
These come in numerous sizes and offer features such as Dolby Atmos sound, 4K visuals and full access to Alexa and Google voice controls.
There’s even RU Flow technology, which reduces image judder during fast-moving scenes. Prices start from £309 for the 43-inch model and rise to £499 for the 65-inch version.

Speaking about the launch, Bart Kuijten, Commercial Director at Toshiba TV said, “After the launch of the UV2F, we are extremely excited to be bringing Freely to another Toshiba TV. We can continue to offer amazing viewing experiences, combining all your favourite streaming apps with live TV via WIFI, all at an incredible price point.”
