Naomi Campbell is setting the record straight on her surrogacy journey.
The supermodel clarified to the Times in an interview published Friday that she welcomed both of her children via gestational carriers.
The self-proclaimed “single” mom, who has yet to disclose her little ones’ names, revealed her daughter and son’s arrivals in May 2021 and June 2023, respectively.
Between their births, Campbell, 54, clarified to Vogue that her eldest child had not been adopted.
“She’s my child,” the former “Face” host said at the time without providing any additional details.
On Friday, she encouraged readers to consider starting families of their own despite how “expensive” it can be.
“I have heard a lot of young girls saying … they may not want [kids], and I have said, ‘You will change your mind. You will want to be a mum,’” Campbell claimed.
“I understand economically it is tough,” she continued. “But my mum had nothing and she made it work. It’s worth it. It is so amazing.”
When Campbell debuted her baby girl via Instagram in 2021, she wrote that “a beautiful little blessing [had] chosen [her] to be her mother” and called herself “so honored.”
“There is no greater love,” she captioned the since-deleted photo of her daughter’s feet.
At the time, a source told Page Six, “Naomi has been wanting to be a mother for a long time and it finally happened. She is the godmother to many friends and family’s kids and has always looked forward to the day of starting her own family.”
The “blessed” parent was similarly vague about when her son joined the family, gushing to her Instagram followers about her “true gift from God” and saying it was “never too late to become a mother.”
The role has made Campbell “fear for the future,” she said on Friday.
“I hope for a better world for my children,” the “No Filter With Naomi” host told the British newspaper. “They are 110 percent my priority. We have to depend on the younger generation to change this world. I trust my children more than us to do the right thing.”
Prior to parenthood, Campbell was engaged to U2 rocker Adam Clayton and businessman Flavio Briatore, and her last public romance was with rapper Skepta in 2019.
