Shoppers have shared their sadness as a Liverpool city centre shop announces its closure.

Florianni bridal shop, on College Lane in The Bluecoat, revealed it will be closing its doors for good, after five years in business. Owners have shared that a closing down sale is now on and everything must go.

The store was once named in the Top 50 wedding dress stores in the UK, thanks to its selection of exclusive dresses, some of which are from from London, Dubai, Belarus, Romania and New York. Most recently, the wife of The Zuton’s lead singer Dave Mccabe wore a dress selected at Florianni.

A statement released on Florianni’s Instagram reads: “It is with heavy hearts we are announcing our shop closing down. After over 5 years of business and hundreds of brides becoming Florianni brides, we can not thank you enough for your custom and support.

“We loved being part of your wedding journey and we are excited to see all the pictures from the upcoming weddings! Love, Florianni xxx.” Previous customers and many brides-to-be have shared their “devastation” about the closure but also their support for the staff.
