After months of speculation and rumours Sephora has finally confirmed their next UK store is opening in Birmingham. Continuing their retail expansion across the UK, beauty enthusiasts will soon be able to shop all their favourite brands at the new Sephora store in the Bullring.
The store is set to open in ‘winter 2024’ but an exact date has not yet been confirmed by Sephora or the Bullring. It will take over a huge 4,925 square foot space on the upper level of the shopping centre – which used to be home to Victoria’s Secret store, which closed earlier this year.
Customers will be able to shop from a selection of brands available across make-up, travel, fragrance, skincare, haircare, grooming and wellness. It will stock viral beauty products from the likes of Glossier, Rare Beauty, Kayali and Glow Recipe, as well as the extensive and high-quality own brand Sephora Collection.

The store will also offer in-store beauty services for what they describe as a ‘truly immersive and transformative experience’. From quick on-the-go treatments, to a full hour complete ‘glam look’, Sephora’s team of beauty advisors will offer an array of bookable services across make-up, skincare, hair and brows.
Brands Elemis, Dermalogica and Seasonly will transform skin with their menu of facials, while Benefit will bring its brow expertise with its BrowBar services and Dyson will dry style hair from beachy waves to full out bouncy curls.
Sarah Boyd, managing director at Sephora UK, said: “We’ve once again harnessed the power of listening to our customers to shape our expansion plans around the UK, and the appetite that our beauty community in Birmingham made was profoundly powerful. The demand we have seen on social media and customer enquiries, particularly on the back of the Manchester opening and Newcastle announcements has been phenomenal, and we are thrilled to announce that we will be welcoming Birmingham customers in the iconic Bullring location in winter 2024.”
It comes after Sephora opened a new store in Manchester’s Trafford Centre in May and announced it would open two further stores in the north east in Newcastle’s Metrocentre and Eldon Square. Sephora also has stores in London’s Westfield Stratford and Westfield White City.
