Selena Gomez has landed in Cannes for the annual film festival, and it’s safe to say she got ~and slayed~ the fashion memo. The 31-year-old stepped out in the sunny French resort town looking like a Golden Age movie star, oozing glamour, elegance, and grace – the three non-negotiables for French Riviera chic.
Donning a peplum minidress by Self Portrait, the ensemble featured a white pointelle knit, perfect for breezy summer days. The top half of the dress imitated a ladylike cardigan, complete with subtle bell-sleeve cuffs, a modest V-neck, and statement gold buttons down the middle.
The peplum waist added an extra touch of sophistication, while also sectioning off the pleated white skirt to create a co-ord vibe.
Selena paired the quiet luxury look with a pair of black and white Roger Vivier sling-back heels. She then accessorised with some retro-looking oval white cat-eye sunglasses and gold, hammered disc earrings while clutching a textured cream and white midi bag.
The Only Murders in the Building star emphasised the classic chic fit with a natural makeup look, opting for a nude lip, sculpted brows, a subtle smokey eye and a touch of blush.
She styled her thick brunette locks in a slicked-back low bun and rocked an all-over glowing tan. But, when you’re in the south of France, what do you expect?
Selena’s presence in Cannes comes as she’s set to walk the red carpet today for the premiere of her upcoming movie Emilia Pérez.
