True in all senses: Gomez is a recently announced double Golden Globes nominee for her roles in the film Emilia Pérez and series Only Murders in the Building. And just last week, she picked up the Spotlight award at the Indiewire Honors for her film.

Speaking previously to Vanity Fair, Gomez said she and the producer felt no pressure to marry. “We always make sure we’re protecting what we have, but there’s no rules,” she said. “I want him to always be himself. I always want to be myself.”
“I’ve never been loved this way,” the Rare Beauty mogul added. “He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. He’s my best friend. I love telling him everything.”
In May, Blanco – known as a hitmaker for Gomez as well as Rihanna, Britney Spears, and SZA – appeared on The Howard Stern Show, and spoke candidly about their relationship. “When I look at her… I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this,’” he told Stern.
Friends and industry peers celebrated their news in the Instagram comments. “Yes I will be the flower girl,” wrote Taylor Swift. Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cardi B, and Lil Nas X were among the thousands sharing their congratulations.
There’s one tradition, however, that Gomez has already confirmed she’ll be swerving. “I’m not changing my name no matter what. I am Selena Gomez. That’s it.”
