Tonight, Vogue celebrates its third annual Vogue World fashion event in Paris, with a special show staged at the famed Place Vendôme. Vogue World: Paris is being helmed by Carine Roitfeld, Ib Kamara, Juan Costa Paz, and Palais Galliera curator Alexandre Samson. Dame Pat McGrath is leading on make-up design, while Parris Goebel oversees artistic direction and choreography.
The 2024 edition of Vogue World will pair different sports – including cycling, gymnastics, tennis and fencing – with a decade in French fashion, going all the way back to the 1920s. The emphasis will be on French designers, both contemporary and historic (and expect a surprise performance or two).
This is Vogue World’s third year. Last year, Vogue World: London took over the legendary Theatre Royal Drury Lane for a celebration of British theatre and fashion, while in 2022 Vogue World: New York marked the magazine’s 130th anniversary with surprise runway appearances from Serena Williams, Lil Nas X, Bella Hadid and more.
