Samsung fans are drooling in anticipation for Android 15 and One UI 7.0. As always, the next version of Android and One UI will be available for beta testing so Samsung can use feedback from interested users to iron out the bugs and niggles as quickly as possible.
Samsung will make the beta program available in select countries. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the first to get the One UI 7.0 beta. Other flagship devices, including this year’s foldables and those launched in 2023, will be next in line.
There were rumors that the One UI 7.0 Beta Program could kick off on July 29. However, that isn’t going to be the case. Samsung is not releasing the beta update today. For more details, check out our X/Twitter account.
One UI 7.0 features and changes
Based on several leaks and reports, One UI 7.0 will bring smoother animations and transitions. It will also bring brand-new icons for some stock apps. In fact, some of those updated apps, like Clock and Samsung Internet, are already available for download.
One UI 7.0 will reportedly bring a two-page Quick Panel with a refreshed UI. One page will display quick setting toggles, while the other will display notifications. There will also be an improvement to continuity features, letting you transfer voice and video calls from one Samsung device to another.
It remains to be seen if One UI 7.0 will bring any new Galaxy AI features. Samsung already introduced several new AI features with One UI 6.1.1, so it may not focus on AI functionality with version 7.0.
