2024 has sure been an interesting year for Samsung fans, but it’s not over yet, and we’re already hearing exciting things about what Samsung might be planning next year.
As you may have heard, the company is supposedly developing a “Galaxy S25 Slim.” A new rumor sheds a bit more light on availability.
The so-called Galaxy S25 Slim does exist somewhere in Samsung’s development labs. It’s been rumored for about a week, and it was spotted in the IMEI database yesterday.
However, if you hoped to buy the Galaxy S25 Slim early next year, you might want to hold your breath. According to @MaxJmb, the Galaxy S25 Slim won’t be released alongside the rest of the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra early next year, but if the mysterious Slim version sees the light of day, it will do so later in the year. When? Nobody knows yet.

Max Jambor also says the Galaxy S25 Slim won’t replace the Fan Edition line. So, if all the rumors so far manifest as they claim, we’ll have at least five Galaxy S25 versions hitting the shelves next year. 2025 could truly become the year of the Galaxy S series.
As far as preliminary specifications go, it is said that the Galaxy S25 Slim will boast a powerful Ultra-grade 200MP camera. But exactly how thin this Slim phone might be is unknown.
