Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Gets New Discount Weeks After Launch

Must read

Samsung’s high trade-in prices have finished. But the discount are not, because the company has immediately followed up that deal with another another Galaxy Z Fold 6 promotion.

To mark the start of the Oympics, from July 26th to August 13th, Samsung will give £150 ($192.94) cashback on purchases of select phones in the U.K. That cashback offer can rise to £300 ($385.88) for one in three shoppers via a scratch card competition. However, anyone who buys one of the phones listed below from Samsung’s U.K. website will get a guaranteed £150 discount.

  • Galaxy Z Fold6
  • Galaxy Z Flip6
  • Galaxy S24 Ultra
  • Galaxy S24+
  • Galaxy S24

You will have to do a bit of work to get your money back, though. A cashback claim must be submitted within 30 days via the online claim form with the same information that the phone was bought with.

The big pre-order deals are over, however. Samsung isn’t offering its free storage upgrade from 256GB to 512GB, nor is it still offering high trade-in prices for your old phone, or Samsung Care + for free. Despite this, £150 off the headline price is still a solid deal and matches the company’s last Galaxy S24 sale earlier this month, which came just a few days before Galaxy Unpacked.

What is missing are enhanced trade-in prices, which is where real savings are made. If you have an old phone, it may be worth holding on to it for the next sale that combines straight money off a new handset, and enhanced trade-in values. Take a look at how much Samsung was offering for five year old phones just a few days ago.

What we can be sure of is that Samsung will likely giveaway double storage, free Samsung Care+ and other types of discounts again in the near future. The company has repeatedly slashed the price its Galaxy S24 since it launched in January, as has Google with its Pixel 8. Both companies have been locked in a price war for the last seven months and with Google’s upcoming Pixel 9 launch, followed by Apple’s iPhone 16 in September, Samsung will almost certainly respond with a new deal.
