Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra in 2025, but the exact date remains unknown. Many rumors are speculating about the possible release timeline, though it can only be confirmed by Samsung through an Unpacked invite.
The Galaxy S25 series will feature three models: S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. These flagships are expected to introduce a refined design, next-gen processors, enhanced displays, brand-new Galaxy AI features, and a revolutionary software experience.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Launch Date
Tipster AbhishekYadav through X (formerly Twitter) suggests that Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S25 series on January 22, 2025. However, the event may be considered on January 23 in South Korea due to different time zones.
India, the US, and most markets share the same launch date for Samsung events despite the time zone difference. The Unpacked may kick off early morning in the United States, while it could be nighttime in India.

Following the Korean outlet, leaker MaxJambor claimed that the Galaxy Unpacked might be held on January 22 in the US. It doesn’t mean the FNNews report was fake, but the date difference is due to the time zone in South Korea.
A month back, Korea’s FNNews reported that Samsung is considering holding an Unpacked event on January 23. Besides, San Francisco is the most preferred location by officials to hold the in-person launch event.

Galaxy Unpacked 2025 – What to expect
Samsung will indeed unveil the new Galaxy S25 series at Unpacked next year. The company is also expected to showcase a prototype of its XR Smart Glasses. A “Slim” model of the S25 series is also in the pipeline, which might be teased as well.
