RUTH Langsford has taken the ultimate revenge on her soon-to-be ex-husband Eamonn Holmes.
The Loose Women star, 64, is understood to have removed the stairlift in the couple’s formerly shared home.
Ruth took the decision to get rid of the equipment before Eamonn had a chance to pick up all of final belongings with pals saying that classy Ruth couldn’t resist the opportunity to get payback on her former partner.
Eamonn has been openly flaunting his new relationship with 42-year-old Katie Alexander for weeks whilst Ruth has remained composed and maintained a dignified silence in the wake of the very public split.
He was even seen parading his new partner around in Ibiza whilst he was wheelchair bound just last week in another over-the-top public display of affection from the pair.
Yet, Ruth was reportedly delighted to be able to finally get rid of the wheelchair-user’s stairlift ahead of him returning to pick up the last of his things from their Surrey mansion.

Eamonn used the £2,000 piece of equipment to manoeuvre up the pair’s curved staircase in order to get upstairs.
Insiders told the Mail that Ruth wasn’t home when Eamonn arrived to pick up his things but she also did not tell him that the stairlift had been dumped in advance.
The source told the publication: “Ruth has remained quiet and classy.
“Even when people bring up what Eamonn has been up to, she stays silent and just smiles. She thinks that is the best way.
“But one thing she would see every day was the stairlift which Eamonn installed. Ruth doesn’t need it.
“She’s super-fit and healthy but she knew Eamonn probably
would struggle when he had to go the house to get some bits he
needed for the holiday.
“The bedrooms are upstairs and he needed to get to them.
“It might seem petty but Ruth’s friends think it is absolutely hilarious as they think he has really taken her for a ride. You can imagine how furious Eamonn was.
“He was probably expecting to be able to use the stairlift to get his
stuff and quickly get out again and pack for his holiday.
“It has been humiliating for her to see Eamonn and Katie together
– and that was before the cringe photos while they were on holiday.
“She must be thrilled that she did it after seeing those photos.”
The Sun has contacted representatives for Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes for comment.
The stairlift was first installed in the pair’s property in January 2023 during his recovery from a slipped disc and a dislocated pelvis which caused him severe back pain.
Rylan Clark previously posted a video to fans showing the stairlift in action soon after Eamonn’s operation.
It showed the former Big Brother host going up and down Eamonn and Ruth’s lavish spiral stair case.
Just last week, The Sun told how Ruth had called in a fierce divorce lawyer in the wake of her split from Eamonn.

Ruth has chosen Catherine Costley, a protegee of Baroness Fiona Shackleton, who was also enlisted by Paul McCartney in his break-up, to represent her in the split.
The big-gun legal eagle has worked under the country’s top divorce lawyer, “Steel Magnolia” Baroness Fiona Shackleton, who represented Charles in his split from Diana, and Sir Paul McCartney.
Ms Costley revels in her fierce reputation and has said all women should have a “go bag” secret fund if exiting a relationship quickly.
Loose Women host Ruth, 64, turned to her several months ago as she seeks to end her 14-year marriage to Eamonn with a financial settlement.
The GB News presenter’s spending since their split is likely to come under the spotlight in the divorce case.
