Key Takeaways

  • New Call of Duty 2025 leak suggests omnimovement upgrade will feature a wall-jumping mechanic.
  • A leaked image from a recent focus group meeting reveals a plethora of new details surrounding next year’s Call of Duty title.
  • Reliable insider Tom Henderson corroborates the leak after previously revealing Call of Duty 2025 will be a semi-futuristic Black Ops 2 sequel.

A new leak surrounding Call of Duty 2025 suggests the game will feature an upgraded omnimovement system that allows players to make use of wall-jumping to leap from surfaces. While fans have only had a taste of Call of Duty‘s new omnimovement system via the Black Ops 6 beta earlier this year, it looks like some major changes could already be in the works for the series’ new movement feature.

While Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to introduce some major changes to the franchise with its launch on October 25, undoubtedly the biggest new feature will be its omnidirectional movement system. Developed by Treyarch Studios, Black Ops 6 will allow players to run, jump, and dive in any direction thanks to the implementation of omnimovement. The system works similarly to the Max Payne series, and while it might take some getting used to for OG Call of Duty players, fans will be forced to adapt as the system is also being implemented into Warzone later this year.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Confirms Return of Fan Favorite Feature

With the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 just days away, developer Treyarch Studios confirms the return of a multiplayer fan-favorite feature.

The launch of Black Ops 6 hasn’t even happened yet, but leaks surrounding Call of Duty 2025 are already in full swing. In a new post on the Twitter account of FumoLeaks (which has also been corroborated by journalist and insider Tom Henderson), a plethora of information surrounding next year’s Call of Duty game has supposedly been revealed. The leak comes via an image that apparently originates from a focus group meeting for 2025’s Call of Duty game, which states that the game will feature “the next evolution of omnimovement” and will feature increased fluidity, all-new immersive animations and a wall-jumping mechanic that will allow players to leap from surfaces.

Call of Duty 2025 Leaks Reveal New Features

Although it’s yet to be confirmed, leaks from earlier in the year pointed to the return of Uplink in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. But according to Call of Duty‘s recent focus group meeting, the mode will now be featured in the franchise’s 2025 entry. While the image provided by the leaker doesn’t outright mention Uplink, a description of “fan-favorite game modes” details how a returning game mode will see players fight for control of a neutral satellite that must be uploaded at the enemy’s base. Although the image has been cut off, a line of text says, “Returning to Call of Duty for the,” suggesting that the mode won’t actually be featured in Black Ops 6 and may have been pushed back to 2025.

The leaker also explains that the return of round-based Zombies in Black Ops 6 will carry over into 2025 and will feature “one of the biggest maps ever.” Due to the large scale of the map, it is claimed that there will be some form of transportation system, similar to Tranzit from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Although it’s recommended to take these leaks with a pinch of salt, they have been corroborated by Tom Henderson, who previously reported that Call of Duty 2025 will be a semi-futuristic sequel to 2012’s Black Ops 2.
