Ricochet Is All Elite; Former WWE Star Makes Shock Debut At AEW All In

Must read

Just months after leaving WWE, Ricochet is All Elite after making a surprise appearance at AEW All In!

The former WWE Intercontinental and United States Champion was one of several surprise entrants in the Casino Gauntlet match, entering at #10. Immediately making his presence felt, Ricochet took out his fellow competitors with a shooting star press off the top rope to the ringside area.

Fellow surprise entrants in the match include New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Zack Sabre Jr, just over a week on from winning this year’s G1 Climax tournament, and long-time AEW announcer Nigel McGuinness, in what was his first match in almost 13 years.

Unfortunately, Ricochet did not walk away with the victory in his first AEW match. That honour went to Christian Cage who picked up the win thanks to his ally in The Patriarchy Killswitch. In doing so, Cage now has a guaranteed shot at the AEW World Championship which he can use at any time – similar to WWE’s Money In The Bank opportunity.

The 35-year-old has been heavily rumoured to become All Elite ever since his surprise WWE departure earlier this year. Those rumours intensified when it was reported earlier this week that he had signed a multi-year deal with AEW and had travelled to London ahead of All In at Wembley Stadium.

Will Ospreay Sent An Empassionated Message To Ricochet Ahead Of AEW All In

Speculation about Ricochet’s potential future in AEW reached a fever pitch earlier this week, so much so that his former rival Will Ospreay was forced to respond.

During an interview with talkSPORT, Ospreay encouraged his high-flying equal to remind the world who he was if the rumours were true. Prior to the latter’s WWE departure, Ospreay was critical of his booking in the promotion – going as far as to call it “appalling!
