RG24seven and Better Change collaborate with industry experts to create landmark safer gambling training

Partnership represents a commitment by both organisations to bring a new, innovative approach to safer gambling training for everyone working in the UK market.

RG24seven Virtual Training, a BMM Innovation Group company, and Better Change, Positive Play advocates, have announced the launch of free safer gambling training for UK employees. 

Victoria Reed, founder and chief executive officer of Better Change (pictured above, right), said: “The industry’s overwhelmingly positive response to the creation of this training demonstrates not only how much it is needed, but also how willing the industry is to collaborate on important topics such as safer gambling.” 

Wendy Anderson, chief executive officer of RG24seven Virtual (left), added: “We brought together the top experts in safer gambling to produce comprehensive, compliance-grade training created by the industry for the industry. Our best-in-class virtual training is effective and free to all UK gambling employees. It transforms the way employees learn about safer gambling through engaging and interactive videos presented by the best minds in the industry.” 

Presenters represent a range of gambling operators and industry organisations, including 17:10 Gaming, Entain, Flutter, Kindred, Leisure Electronics, Les Ambassadeurs, Luxury Leisure, Metropolitan Gaming, Midnite, Mindway AI, the Betting & Gaming Council (BGC), Tombola, Viral Interactive and William Hill. 

Reed said: “By bringing the industry together we are sharing the combined knowledge, experience and expertise from UK gambling industry professionals. Our aim is to empower those working in the UK to be advocates for consumers of gambling, the companies they work for and the wider gambling industry.” 

Free safer gambling training for UK employees by RG24seven and Better Change is available for the UK gambling industry starting 8 July 2024.
