As Bayern Munich seeks to work out a deal with Burnley for head coach Vincent Kompany, there is reportedly a feeling of betrayal occuring within the English club per journalist Sacha Tavolieri (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
People inside Burnley feel ‘betrayed’ and there will be no gifts to Bayern regarding the compensation fee due to the manner of Kompany’s exit. Bayern remain confident an agreement will be reached. Deal expected to be higher than €15m. Kompany is still waiting for the green light.
According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), if Bayern Munich and Burnley can work out an agreement on a fee, Kompany has a portion of his staff already identified:
All contractual details between Bayern and Vincent Kompany have been agreed. 3-year contract until 2027. He will bring Floribert Ngalula as assistant coach and Bram Geers as athletic coach. René Maric will also join the staff as assistant coach. Now all that’s missing is the agreement with Burnley.
