Realme Sets A New Record With Its 320W SuperSonic Technology That Can Fully Charge Your Phone In A Little Over 4 Minutes

Must read

When it comes to fast charging technologies, Realme is not a new name. Recently, during an event at the Shenzhen headquarters in China, the company unveiled innovations that would make their way to smartphones. Among the many capabilities demoed, the touch-sensitive panel on the phone was added to support both swipe and tap, and the AirGap voltage transformer was added to help maintain power efficiency and protect the phone from damage during electrical faults.

However, the one feature that became the limelight of the key announcements was its new SuperSonic Charge technology, which gives mind-baffling charging speed.

Realme leads again with its new fast charging system that can fully charge your phone in less than 5 minutes

Realme has been leading the mobile industry when it comes to charging speed for a while, and now, with its latest innovation, the 320W SuperSonic Charge technology, it is here to take the tech industry by storm. Xiaomi unveiled its 300W technology in 2023 that could charge a device in 4 minutes and 55 seconds, to be precise. After the remarkable charging speed was achieved, no manufacturer was able to achieve the same, but Realme changed that on Wednesday in the demonstration of its new technology at the Fanfest event in Shenzhen, China.

With its new record-breaking fast-charging technology, your smartphone’s battery can be charged to 26 percent in 1 minute, 50 percent in 2 minutes, and fully charged in precisely 4 minutes and 30 seconds as per the demonstration with a 4,420mAh battery. This incredible charging speed is made possible with the help of multiple-cell batteries that can speed up the charging time by simultaneously performing the task, unlike others that rely on a single-cell battery. The company, with its new quad-cell ultra-thin battery design that folds in half, was able to achieve this remarkable charging speed.

Realme was also able to boost the 240W charger that was launched last year to a whopping 320W, and the power jump was made without any changes to the size. Pocket Cannon is the upgrade that offers two USB ports to extend 150W support to phones and 65W to laptops. To deal with dissipation concerns when using the SuperVOOC charging, Realme introduced a new AirGap voltage transformer that keeps the battery and the transformer physically separate.

We have limited information on which devices will be included with the new technology and when the new SuperSonic Charge feature is fully ready to be rolled out, but the company might surprise us yet again by introducing it during its product launch next year.
