The Queen will not attend Friday night’s Royal Variety performance as she is still suffering with symptoms from a chest infection, according to Buckingham Palace.
Camilla had to miss remembrance events this month as she was still recovering from the illness.
The Royal Variety performance, which takes place every year, will this year be hosted by the comedian Alan Carr and the actress Amanda Holden.
The line-up includes the Britain’s Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas and Nemo, who won this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

The palace said: “Following a recent chest infection, the Queen continues to experience some lingering post-viral symptoms, as a result of which doctors have advised that, after a busy week of engagements, Her Majesty should prioritise sufficient rest.
