A travel firm is launching a holiday based around visiting the most historical and popular UK Wetherspoons’ venues.

Travel company, MyUKTour, has announced that it will now now offering pub connoisseurs and ‘Spoons fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to embark on the world’s very first Wetherspoons tours.




The tour will experience Britain’s diverse heritage by exploring different Spoons pubs including historical sites and sites know for their celebrity associations. As well as visiting key Spoons locations, guests will also get a chance to play the iconic Wetherspoons game, where customers post an image on social media of their table number and location to receive free drinks.

Highlights include The Winter Gardens, Harrogate which is one of the country’s most beautiful Spoons’ venues, The Rochester Castle, Hackney which is the oldest surviving Spoons’ venue and George’s Meeting House, Exeter, which is Tim Martin’s favourite Spoons’ venue.

Highlights from the south tour include breakfast at the oldest surviving Wetherspoons venue, spending the day at the Tower of London, punting along the River Cam, a visit to Britain’s ‘poshest Spoons’, Canterbury Cathedral and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

Alternatively, highlights on the northern tour include visiting Wordsworth House and Garden, the iconic “Velvet Coaster” which is among the UK’s largest pubs, Manchester’s Northern Quarter and Nidderdale National Landscape.
