Princess Kate was “taken aback” by the rush of support from the crowd as she received a “standing ovation” at Wimbledon, royal correspondent Cameron Walker has claimed.
Kensington Palace confirmed on Saturday morning that Kate would attend the SW19 showdown and she looked stunning as she enjoyed the tennis match.
Speaking to GB News, Walker said: “You just have to look at the crowd’s reaction. When the princess entered the royal box in centre court, she got a huge standing ovation.
“I think she looked a little bit kind of taken aback as to the crowd’s reaction because they were really cheering and screaming for the Princess of Wales.”
