Prince Harry’s friends are said to be “avoiding him” because of Meghan Markle as the Duke of Sussex grows “increasingly bored” in the US, a royal commentator has claimed.
Author Tom Quinn stated Harry’s old friends will not visit the Duke because “they find Meghan difficult”.
Quinn added that Harry’s friends from the military service are “part of the old pre-Meghan world” which the Prince “hates to revisit”.
It comes as many felt “betrayed” by what he shared about the military service in his memoir, Spare.
Some of Harry’s old friends “don’t like Meghan” and blame the Duchess for turning the Duke into “Harry the Hippy.”
“Harry on the other hand is increasingly bored and looking back across the Atlantic where most of his army and school friends still live and whom he never sees because they won’t visit him in the States because they find Meghan difficult,” Quinn told The Mirror.
Last month, Harry was nowhere to be seen at one of his oldest friends’ wedding.
Hugh Grosvenor, who is godfather to the Sussexes’ son Archie, married Olivia Henson at Chester Cathedral – but the Duke did not attend.
