Prince Harry has been warned against writing a new book on his strained relationship with the Royal Family as it could be the “final nail in the coffin” that makes reconciliation impossible.
Speaking on Kinsey Schofield’s YouTube show, TalkTv presenter Cristo Foufas claimed that the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle “will literally do anything for money.”
He said: “Whether it be biscuits, whether it be Rosè, whether it be a podcast that failed, whether it is being the CEO of an eco-travel firm while taking private jets…they will literally do anything for money.
“Spare is one of Harry’s most successful ventures from a monetary point of view, from a worldwide publicity point of view, whether that is good or bad publicity is another matter.
“You can call Spare a success. Obviously, it has severed ties with his family forever and made us all realise that all he does is whinge, but a success nonetheless.
“Obviously there has been a lot of talk about a sequel. Well Jennie Bond, a very well-respected royal expert, says that she believes Harry does not want to write another book.
“Not because of the lack of monetary value but because it would be absolutely the final nail in the coffin between him and his family.
“There would be no going back from this. This would be it.”
Harry’s memoir caused uproar after it was published in January 2023. In it, Harry was critical of Queen Camilla, and even alleged that he was pushed over by Prince William in an argument back in 2019.
Mr Foufas was referring to comments made by royal expert Jennie Bond, who told OK! Magazine: “I can’t imagine that Harry would contemplate a follow-up to ‘Spare’.
“He has indicated that he wants to move on: he has said his piece, vented his anger, and faced the consequences.
“If he did go there, then I am sure the response would be a continued dignified silence and a resounding crash as the palace doors slammed on any hope of future reconciliation.”
