Must read

The Potteries Centre in Hanley has revealed its 2024 award winners – as voted for by shoppers across the county. They were announced during a Wild West themed celebratory dinner at the Double Tree Hilton.

Now in its sixth year, the awards put the spotlight on the best of Hanley’s retail landscape including those who play an integral role in delivering exceptional customer experience. Caroline Rhead from River Island was named manager of the year, while Primark claimed the women’s fashion store award and Jack & Jones was the recipient of the men’s.

Amy Whittaker, centre manager at The Potteries Centre, said: “The Retailer Awards served as a fantastic opportunity for the people of Staffordshire to have their say in which retail stores are their favourites, both in terms of product offering and customer service.

“We know that our tenants are vital in creating our exciting offering and we send our congratulations to all the retail teams who were spotlighted. We are grateful to them all for their amazing work and impressive work ethic.”
