Megan McKenna has revealed that she is packing up and moving to Germany from her Essex home, as she is set to give birth abroad in a ‘crazy’ move. The reality star is currently expecting her first child with her footballer fiancé Oli Burke, and is making the move for his career – with the sportsman playing for German team Werder Bremen.
Announcing the news in a TikTok video, Megan, 31, showed off her bump while plating up her lunch and excitedly said: “Guess what? I’m moving to Germany.” She continued: “I know I did some Stories yesterday about packing and a few of you thought I was going into labour, but no, let’s hope I don’t go into labour because I am now giving birth in Germany.”
Clearing up that her fiancé is already out there, she added: “A few of you have been asking, ‘Where’s Oli?’ and Oli is already out there. All of our stuff has been in storage for a couple of months.” Going on to say that her growing bump means ‘nothing’ fits her anymore, Megan cradled her bump throughout the video.

“It’s actually a bit crazy that I’m moving countries, I’m actually excited – it’s obviously going to be a big change,” she continued. Megan added that she has already packed an ’emergency baby bag’ in case she goes into early labour before the move.
“How funny is this; I actually took German in school, I chose German over Spanish. But, I don’t know anything in German. I actually don’t know how to speak German, Guten Tag,” she jested. In the comment section, Oli gushed: “Can’t wait to see you”, as Megan replied: “Can’t wait to ♥️ can’t wait to build the nursery”.
While some fans were confused as they questioned whether Megan is allowed to travel so late in her pregnancy. But responding to comments, she reassured: “yes I am allowed to travel! And I have consultant & midwife care all organised over there! X”
Megan announced her pregnancy news earlier this year, which came after she underwent IVF to get pregnant. Sharing the news on Instagram, the star shared a touching post featuring a video of herself and Oli seeing their baby’s first scan and a positive pregnancy test with the caption: “A little bit of you and a little bit of me… now we’re a family”. She played her own song, ‘This’, over the heartwarming clip.
