Retailer The Entertainer is retaining its store inside Stoke-on-Trent’s main shopping centre – despite preparing to open a Tesco concession. The Entertainer is currently recruiting staff for its Hanley Tesco concession.
The recruitment drive had sparked fears that The Entertainer would close its unit inside The Potteries Centre. But The Potteries Centre has now dismissed those fears.
A Potteries Centre spokesman said: “The Entertainer’s new opening in Tesco Hanley will be an additional store to the existing location in The Potteries Centre. The new store is a testament to the growing demand for the brand and the expansion will allow for further accessibility for shoppers. It’s exciting to see such a beloved brand thriving and expanding to be even more convenient for the local community.”
