A POPULAR fashion brand has come to Glasgow for the first time and is located in a major city centre store.
New Zealand menswear retailer Rodd & Gunn has been announced as a concession within a huge store.
It is the brand’s first ever presence in the city, bringing its unique fashion offering to shoppers, The Glasgow Times reports.
Rodd & Gunn has three other outlets across Scotland including Crieff in Perthsire, Kelso in the Borders and Brodie in Morayshire.
And the latest is located in the John Lewis at Buchanan Galleries.
The popular department store is spread over five floors and offers shoppers an extensive range of fashion brands.
Rodd & Gunn will sit alongside a number of much-loved premium menswear brands on the ground floor including Reiss, Hugo Boss, Barbour and GANT.
The store sells a range of linen blazers, wool coats, knitwear and polos.
Tailored shirts, hand-crafted leather belts and footwear are also sold by the retailer.
David Sharp, John Lewis & Partners Head of Branch, said: “We’re really excited to launch Rodd & Gunn, a timeless, smart casual menswear brand and a Glasgow first to our branch.
“As a fresh brand originating from New Zealand known for its effortless style, I’m confident that the new, sophisticated collection will be quickly established as a firm favourite amongst our customers, and the range will perfectly compliment some of our stylish own-brand labels.”
Kathy Murdoch, Centre Director at Buchanan Galleries said: “We are thrilled to welcome Rodd & Gunn into our centre.
“This addition represents our dedication to providing unique and sought-after brands, providing our visitors with an unrivalled shopping experience.
“We believe that Rodd & Gunn’s timeless elegance and quality will resonate well amongst our fashion-conscious shoppers.”
