THE police have issued an update after Katie Price was forced to call them THREE times in a week.
Last night the former glamour model, 46, accused two men of attempting to break into her Mucky Mansion.
Katie took to her social media platform to share CCTV footage of a man, wearing a grey tracksuit with a bag over his shoulder, appearing to try the locked door before turning and walking away.
Another man, dressed in a jacket and dark jeans, was seen approaching the house separately.
Police have since told The Sun: “We received a report of suspicious behaviour involving a possible break-in at 9pm on June 4.
“Officers attended the scene and two men were searched.
“No items were found. The men were given words of advice and released.
“Officers have made contact with the property owner and kept them informed of both incidents.
“Any suspicious activity can be reported to Sussex Police on 101 or online, in an emergency call 999.”
It comes after Katie called the police called after a group of men in a van were spotted on the property’s grounds.
She told her followers: “Rushed to my home after being informed of a white Transit van with eight people not from this area waiting in my grounds.
“A thanks to Sussex police who were instantly there and who are guarding the property.
“After the recent acid attack at the mansion all breaches of security are taken seriously by all now.
“There is 24 hour security now at the property for protection.”
On that occasion police attended and completed a search but no vehicle was found, and nothing was reported stolen or missing.
Just days prior Katie called the police again after the side of Katie’s pink Range Rover was splashed with a corrosive substance while parked outside her home.
Katie Price’s missing millions
At the peak of her career Katie had an estimated fortune of £45m, thanks to her lucrative modelling career, book deals, and TV appearances.
The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2 million.
In a podcast interview earlier this year she blamed her exes who include Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler and lawyers for her money woes.
She insisted that funding her exes’ lavish lifestyles with cars, watches, luxury holidays and homes left her finances in tatters.
She added: “I went through a breakdown, this is how mine started – lawyers and exes, that is my bankruptcy thing.
“And obviously a bit of HMRC.
“When I had my breakdown, if anyone has been depressed …. I don’t know if you’ve ever had depression…
“It starts with depression and you just want to sleep all day and not talk to anyone, the phone would ring and you wouldn’t answer it.’
Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.
The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October.
Katie was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court but failed to turn up – holidaying in Cyprus with her new man JJ Slater instead.
Her Mucky Mansion was a bomb site for years after it was burgled, flooded and swamped by an overflowing septic tank.
She finally moved out at the end of May and is currently renting a four-bed mansion in Sussex.
They said in a statement: “Officers engaged with the informant to identify any viable lines of enquiry.
“No reasonable lines of enquiry have been identified at this stage, but anyone with information that could help is asked to contact police online or via 101, quoting serial 1053 of 26/05.”
Katie moved out of the Mucky Mansion late last month.
She’s currently paying an eye-watering sum to rent a new four-bed home in Sussex – £5,000.
The star left the property after 10 years following her second bankruptcy in March.
Katie and her kids have downsized, but she’s very happy with her new pad.
Katie said on her podcast: “All I’ve ever bought for my second house, are houses in the country to have my horses there, that was always my dream.
I’ve done it now for 25 years now I don’t want that.
“Now I want a new house when I’m the first one in there when everything works, and I’ve chose the colour scheme and I’ve done it all.
“Underfloor heating on my tip toes. I deserve it. I’ve been through so much s***. “
