This week, you’ll be able to play one of the most highly anticipated RPGs of 2025 for free but only for a limited time.
It’s fair to say that Capcom is perhaps best known for the likes of Resident Evil and Street Fighter, however, it has another mammoth series up its sleeve, namely, Monster Hunter.
Check out the Monster Hunter Wilds trailer below!
Monster Hunter made its debut in 2004 on the PlayStation 2, now over two decades later, fans of the series are looking forward to the upcoming release of Monster Hunter Wilds set for release early next year.
Powered by Capcom’s RE Engine, announced during The Game Awards 2023, Wilds is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Monster Hunter World that was initially released in 2018. Understandably, fans of the series are eager to play the new game but if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus, you can get your mitts on it tomorrow.
“The unbridled force of nature runs wild and relentless, with environments transforming drastically from one moment to the next. This is a story of monsters and humans and their struggles to live in harmony in a world of duality,” reads the synopsis of the game.
Earlier this month, Capcom announced the open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds. If you’re a PS Plus subscriber you can get early access to the beta from Tuesday 28 October until Thursday 31 October 2024.
If you’re not a subscriber to PS Plus or a game on PC and Xbox, then never fear, because you won’t miss out on all the fun.
The Monster Hunter Wilds beta will be available to gamers without a PS Plus subscription as well as PC and Xbox Series X/S from Friday 1 November to Monday 4 November 2024.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on 28 February 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
