The PlayStation Plus games for July 2024 on the Essential tier have been announced.
This coming month will see PlayStation Plus members able to claim three fresh games as part of their subscription from Tuesday, July 2.
If you don’t have a PS Plus subscription yet and are looking for a deal, you can use discounted PlayStation Store gift cards from CDKeys. A £100 gift card is £87.99 (12% off), while a £40 gift card is £35.99 (10% off).
Below are the three games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential in July 2024…
Borderlands 3
It’s been nearly five years since the release of the last full game in Gearbox Software’s loot-shooter series.
For those who enjoyed the previous games, Borderlands 3 offers more of the same. With playable characters including Amara, Moze, Zane, and FL4K, players can team up in groups of up to four (or go solo), shooting and looting their way through missions on the planet of Pandora.
Among Us
The social deduction game went viral at the start of the pandemic, but if you didn’t know, developer Innersloth is still rolling out substantial updates to keep the gameplay fresh.
The last couple of years have seen Among Us introduce a fifth map called The Fungle and a Hide and Seek mode.
And from this month, there are three new roles to play: Noisemaker, Tracker, and Phantom. They offer a slight twist to the game – the Phantom, for example, can temporarily gain invisibility.
NHL 24
Released last October, NHL 24 is the latest game in EA’s ice hockey series. This edition of the series sees some gameplay changes including total control skill moves and a new passing system.
Reviews, however, are mixed with some critics feeling NHL 24 represents only a marginal improvement, if any, over the previous year’s game.
