It crashed a short distance from its final destination in an area of severe weather and icing between 12,000 feet and 21,000 feet. It was flying at 17,000 feet befor it crashed, the website said.
The video of the mid-afternoon crash also appeared to show clear weather, though the forecast for the area suggested light rainfall and winds of 10kmh (6 mph).
A short clip published on social media shows the plane falling out of the sky and spiralling towards the ground, but not the moment of impact.
It is unclear what caused it to crash but the plane’s black box has been recovered, a state official said.
