Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has accused Israel of telling ‘filthy and disgusting lies’ about babies being burnt and women being raped by Hamas.
The 80-year-old musician blustered that there was ‘no evidence’ that victims had been subjected to sex attacks during the terrorist organisation’s rampage on October 7.
That’s despite a United Nations report earlier this year saying that ‘sexualised torture’ such as rapes and gang-rapes had been carried out by Hamas thugs amid the atrocities which saw 1,200 people killed and 250 taken hostage.
Waters, who has previously said Hamas are ‘morally bound to resist occupation’ by Israel, told Piers Morgan Uncensored last night that the murder of civilians was a ‘war crime‘.
However, in a fiery exchange the 80-year-old musician accused Israel of lying about the atrocities committed by the terrorists, before bizarrely whispering to himself in a bid to calm down on camera.

Speaking on the Talk TV show last night, Waters said: ‘I’m not saying a part of the Palestinian resistance movement didn’t cross that wire fence. I am not saying that didn’t happen at all.
‘What I am saying is there is all this talk about does Israel have a right to defend itself why didn’t Israel defend itself that morning?
‘Why did they wait seven hours before they started machine-gunning everyone?’ he queried
As the line of questioning became increasingly heated between Mr Waters and Piers Morgan, the rockstar suggested there should be an ‘actual’ and ‘real’ investigation into October 7.Â
He added: ‘Beyond the very good AlJazeera documentary that we all saw that came out.
‘And all the great work that the Grayzone did in debunking all the filthy degusting lies that the Israeli’s told after October 7 about burning babies and women being raped.’
When Piers confirmed women were raped on that day, the 80-year-old vehemently denied the claims, shouting: ‘No they weren’t.’
He continued: ‘Well there was no evidence. You can say anything that you want but there is no evidence.’
Shortly after his defiant ranting, Waters appeared to begin bizarrely talking to himself.
‘Roger, Roger calm down. Don’t sink to his level, alright I won’t. Stop shouting. Stop shouting back. Let him interrupt you as much as he wants,’ he whispered.

The musician then went on to allege Israel attacked their own civilians that day, branding it a ‘cast-iron’ fact.Â
‘All those piles of cars they were destroyed by Apache missiles from helicopters Hamas didn’t have helicopters,’ he said.
He then went on to assert that he definitely believed Hamas killed civilians that day.Â
Waters described killing civilians as a ‘war crime’ but refused to label Hamas as a terrorist organisation, adding that Palestine had a right to fight back against the ‘oppressor’.
‘The people fighting on behalf of Palestine liberation have a legal and moral have a right to fight back against the oppressor
‘If someone invades your country, kicks all the people out of their home, steals everything and is stealing all your land and occupies all your land for 75 years you have an absolute right to armed resistance,’ he said.
The musician has previously stoked controversy when he said Hamas were ‘morally bound to resist occupation’ on October 7 and accused Israel of ‘making up stories’ about the terror attack.
Speaking on the Rumble podcast System Update with Glenn Greenwald in November – the aged rocker said there was ‘something very fishy’ about Israel not realising Hamas were invading. Â
‘But again it’s the Geneva convention – they are absolutely legally and morally bound to resist the occupation since 1967. It’s an obligation.’
He continued: ‘As I said in a statement after it, if war crimes were committed I condemn them.

‘They have finally come out with figures of how many people were actually killed, who they were, on that day.
‘Probably the first 400 were Israeli military personnel – that is not a war crime.
‘Of course I don’t condemn that but the thing was thrown out of all proportion by the Israelis making up stories about beheading babies.’
The host claimed Waters had been targeted with ‘character smears and attacks’ – suggesting it is because he has ‘expressed views that are threatening to people in power’.
The guitarist claimed accusations of antisemitism had come across ‘because they have no answer to the argument.’
