Manchester City fans gathered in their thousands in the city centre for a huge parade to celebrate their club’s historic Premier League title triumph.
The Blues became the first team in the history of English football to win fourth back-to-back league titles thanks to a 3-1 victory over West Ham United last Sunday (May 19).
And a week later, Pep Guardiola’s team took to the streets of the city centre show off their silverware in an open bus victory tour around the city.
The bus parade started at around 7.30pm, with brilliant pictures showing the mammoth crowds – all dressed in blue and waving flags – turning out see the four-time champions lift the Premier League trophy. Blue flares were let off into the sky as fans chanted in elation.
And it seemed the looming threat of storms failed to stop the huge celebrations as the fans held on to electric spirits and came out equipped with umbrellas and raincoats.
Here is a selection of pictures taken as the parade made its way through Manchester.
