The northernmost section of the Piccadilly line will close for two weeks from Saturday, Transport for London (TfL) has said.
There will be no service between Cockfosters and Wood Green until Sunday 1 September to get the line ready for 94 new air-conditioned trains, which will be introduced in 2025.
Railway replacement buses connecting both stations will also call at Oakwood, Southgate, Arnos Grove and Bounds Green.
TfL said the work would renew infrastructure, points and crossings in the Arnos Grove area, as well as prepare sidings for trains in the Cockfosters area.
