Phil Collins‘ ex-wife Orianne Cevey paid an emotional tribute to the singer in a heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday.
The 50-year-old, divorced the Genesis star, 73, with whom she shares sons Nicholas, 22, and Matthew, 18, in 2008 after nine-years of marriage in a bitter split which saw her receive a reported $47M settlement.
Orianne was also evicted from Phil’s Miami mansion in a lengthy battle after refusing to leave the property with new husband, male escort Thomas Bates, 34.
But keeping their relationship civil, Orianne publically gushed over her ex-husband and branded him ‘the best dad ever’ to their children, in a length Father’s Day post.
Alongside a slew of snaps of Phil and his sons, Orianne also shared a smiley throwback picture of them together.

She captioned the post: ‘Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad out there but to especially to be the best Dad ever to my kids. Thank you for the beautiful and talented sons we have together and VERY HAPPY FATHER DAY FROM ME’
Orianne reportedly left Phil blindsided by moving Tom, who she has since divorced, into the palatial pad following their secret Las Vegas nuptials.
She even hired security guards to keep the rocker out of his own home.
In the divorce Orianne went on to claim the singer lost his musical talents and started abusing pain killers, according to TMZ and said he refused to shower for nearly a year from 2019-2020.
Saying he began to smell and his ‘stench became so pervasive that he became a hermit, refusing to interact personally with any people.
Phil finally got Orianne and her new husband kicked out of the lavish mansion before things eventually fell apart for the duo.
In December 2021 she announced the divorce blaming the pandemic for their failed marriage.

But once she moved him into Phil’s mansion their fiery relationship saw her physically assault her new husband ‘on several occasions’ – once threatening to cut off his ‘private parts’, according to his filings in the divorce.
He also claims he received the alleged threat to slice off his genitals after returning to the couple’s new Fort Lauderdale mansion from spending Thanksgiving 2021 with his parents at their home in nearby Lighthouse Point.
He arrived to find Orianne had ‘secretly removed’ his clothes and other possessions and he asked for them back.
‘Wife, who has a ferocious temper, threatened husband with bodily harm (by cutting off his private parts) when he asked for his clothes and personal property’, said his filing.
‘The wife, who has earned a 3rd degree black belt designation and is trained in boxing, previously physically assaulted husband on several occasions prior to separation. On one occasion, husband had to scream for the housekeeper to help him exit the house to avoid wife’s assault.
‘Husband voluntarily vacated the marital residence for his safety.’
Bates was on the books of a company called Cowboys 4 Angels, using the name Ryan, while he was in Los Angeles, after moving from Florida to try to make it in the music business.
However he headed back to his home state when things didn’t work out as planned. It is understood the couple had their first meeting at an exclusive five-star hotel in Miami Beach.
