Peter Andre revealed he was left horrified after a huge blunder during his last visit to the late Queen Elisabeth.

The 51-year-old who shot to fame in the 1990s as a chart-topping singer before transitioning to TV presenting, met the Royal three times throughout his career.

However, Peter disclosed that he accidentally destroyed the property during his last visit to the Buckingham Palace Gardens for the Duke of Edinburgh Award ceremony.

The father of five was left red-faced as he admitted he was “mortified,” by his blunder.

When asked if he was “no longer welcome,” Peter said: “Put it this way, I’ve not had an invitation back.”

The Mysterious Girl singer, explained: “I was telling a joke when I knocked over my black coffee and it stained this beautiful red carpet.”

The situation then worsened when a royal staff member joked that his clumsiness had cost more than he initially realised.

Peter told The Times: “One of the staff joked, ‘One square metre of this carpet costs more than your house.’”

He continued: “As I left, a security guard at the front gate said ‘Her Majesty is not going to be happy,’ they all knew about it before I’d left the building.”

Although he joked about fitting the “cleaning bill,” the reality star has not been invited back to Buckingham Palace since 2019.

During his visit for the annual event, Peter looked dapper in his black suit and matching tie, while his wife Emily MacDonagh stunned in a floral off-the-shoulder dress.

The couple have been together since 2010 and share three children Amelia, nine, Theo, six, and new baby girl Arabella.

He is also a father to Junior, 19 and Princess, 17 from his previous marriage to Katie Price, which ended in 2009.
