But Scottish punters will have one less bar to visit after the chain confirmed it has closed its site in Inverness after seven years.

The city centre venue will shut its Church Street premises for good on August 11.

In an emotional statement on social media ,bosses of the Highlands vodka bar said: “Sad news announcement.

“We will be closing our doors for good on Sunday 11th of August 2024.

“There have been some amazing moments and we have loved shaking out your cocktails and watching all dancing over the years but this party is nearly at an end.

“Join us over our final few weeks and keep an eye out over our socials for updates on our closing party.”

Revolution opened their most northerly outlet back in November 2017.

Fans rushed to the comments to share their sadness over the decision to shut the site.

One wrote: “We have to go, one last cocktail!”

Another said: “No way. Loved coming here over the last two years whenever I was in Inverness.”

A third added: “we will have to find a new venue for cocktail dates…and figure out how to make a mean girl!”

It comes after Revolution Bars announced plans for an overhaul which could see 12 of its bars shut down after already shutting six.

The chain recently revealed it has been dealing with cost of living pressures which were affecting its sales.

In a bid to save the business, it said it was planning to raise £12.5 million from investors to return to profit.

In an update today, Revolution revealed it had held an “exploratory meeting” with bar chain Nightcap.

It is said to have discussed a “range of possible transactions”, including a possible offer for the entire business.

But there is no certainty that any firm offer will be made or that any terms have been agreed.

Revolution Bars revealed in January it would have to close eight of its boozers, and blamed younger customers spending less than they used to.

Earlier this year, The Sun revealed that over 7,000 pubs are expected to go bust in the next year.

Rising costs and fewer punters through the door has meant that four out of five pubs have seen their profits take a nosedive.
