Paolo Nutini announces hometown show – how to get tickets for £3

Must read

Paolo Nutini has announced that he will be playing a one-off show in his hometown this summer.

The chart topper is currently on tour with his final show set to take place on August 4 at the Kendal Calling Festival.

The singer-songwriter will be performing at Paisley Town Hall on August 6.

It comes after Nutini sprung a surprise gig on his fans last year by announcing his only Scottish show at the Royal Highland Showground.

Paisley’s A-listed Victorian town hall reopened last year after a five-year £22m refurbishment.

The transformation added state-of-the-art performance and back-of-house facilities such as new sound and lighting, retractable seating and lowered stage, and expanded the capacity in the main hall to more than 1,000.

How can you get tickets?

More than 1,000 tickets for Nutini’s show will be available to win as pairs.

Lucky winners will be selected after participating in a text-to-donate competition raising money for two charities.

The singer has chosen The STAR Project, an anti poverty community organisation based in Paisley, and Doctors Without Borders, for its work in Gaza and The West Bank.

All profits from the gig will be split evenly between the two charities.

Fans will be able to be in with a chance of winning the tickets through a £3 donation from 8am on Friday morning.

Full details of the show and how to donate will be announced on Friday at 8am.
