One of the UK’s leading bargain retailers is set to open a huge new store at Derby’s main shopping centre. The new B&M store at Derbion in the city centre will serve its first customers on Friday, July 26, and is part of a £5 million investment into the shopping centre.

The 25,503-square-foot store will offer shoppers the chance to browse a collection of branded products at low prices including groceries, homeware, toys, health and beauty and DIY. Derbion’s B&M will be the 15th in the county and is just one of a few major changes coming to the shopping centre in 2024.

Three new concept stores for JD, New Look and Ann Summers were confirmed to be opening before the end of the year, with Ann Summers opening its doors last month. JD will more than double the size of its existing space to 20,175 square feet in Autumn, with no opening date yet confirmed for the New Look store.
