Samsung is expected to launch the One UI 7.0 Beta Program soon. It will allow users of select devices to test the next version of Android and One UI ahead of the official release.
Samsung is likely to follow its usual tradition when it comes to the list of devices that will be part of the beta program.
We can expect public beta testing for the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, and flagship phones from 2022 and 2023. At some point, a few mid-range phones might join the beta program as well.
Countries where One UI 7.0 beta program will be available
But what about the list of countries where the beta program will be available? No official details are available as of July 29, but we can make an educated guess based on previous beta programs.
The following countries are likely to be eligible for the Android 15 and One UI 7.0 Beta Program:
- China
- Germany
- India
- Korea
- Poland
- United States
- United Kingdom
Samsung usually opens up its One UI beta programs in phases. In the first phase, we expect Germany, Korea, and the US to get the One UI 7.0 beta. The other countries will likely have to wait a week or two.
Could Samsung launch the beta program in more countries? Well, the company has stuck to the same list of countries ever since it started doing public beta tests for new versions of Android and One UI, so we wouldn’t get our hopes high for anything changing this year.
