Oasis are reportedly not planning to add any additional dates to their UK and Ireland tour next year, much to the disappointment of fans who missed out on tickets during Saturday’s general sale. The Mirror has reported that the 17 sold-out dates will be the only opportunities for fans in Europe to see the Britpop legends before they embark on tours in other continents.

Fans who were unable to secure tickets during Friday’s pre-sale and Saturday’s general sale had been hoping for the announcement of extra dates, but these hopes have now apparently been dashed. It is estimated that around 14 million users were vying for tickets to the reunion gigs, which led to the addition of three extra nights due to high demand.

The band has confirmed plans for OASIS LIVE ’25 to tour outside of Europe later next year. All UK and Ireland dates for Oasis’s reunion tour sold out in less than a day on Saturday, leading to a chaotic day for many desperate fans.

Those who missed out on tickets for the shows – which mark the first time the Gallagher brothers have reunited in 15 years – expressed their frustration at being kicked off ticket selling websites and then quoted inflated prices for the reunion tour.

At 7pm, the Manchester band issued a statement confirming the end of the sale and cautioning those considering using resale sites. They stated: “Oasis Live ’25 UK and Ireland tickets have now sold out. Please be aware of counterfeit and void tickets appearing on the secondary market. Tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets.”, reports the Mirror.

Earlier in the day, Ticketmaster had announced that the Irish shows at Dublin’s Croke Park were already sold out.

Fans reported difficulties accessing the website of Manchester-based promoter SJM Concerts’ Gigs and Tours and See Tickets. Some fans claimed they were “suspended” by Ticketmaster UK and Ireland after being accused of being “bots”.

The site’s customer service staff advised concerned customers to ensure they were “only using one tab, clear your cookies, and ensure you aren’t using any VPN software on your device”. Some tickets also saw a significant price increase from around £148 to about £355 on Ticketmaster after fans waited for hours to secure their place at the Oasis Live 25 shows.

The website explained the “in-demand standing ticket” price, stating: “The event organiser has priced these tickets according to their market value. Tickets do not include VIP packages. Availability and pricing are subject to change.”

Ticketmaster informed the PA news agency that it does not set prices, and provided a link to its website where it explains that costs can be “fixed or market-based”.

Ticket prices are believed to be set by promoters, not artists. Oasis tickets have already been relisted on ticket exchange and reselling websites for thousands of pounds.

Fans have been urging the Gallagher brothers to reunite since they disbanded 15 years ago, following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009. Noel, 57, quit the group on August 28 2009, stating he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”, and the brothers have been publicly feuding for over a decade.

However, the band confirmed their reunion on Tuesday, announcing that “the great wait is over” for the Oasis Live 25 world tour. Dates outside Europe will be confirmed later.

On Saturday, as gig tickets went on sale, Noel was spotted watching his home team Manchester City beat West Ham United 3-1 at London Stadium.
